During my search for the perfect micro and button cameras, I found a great site to search for everything surveillance. This B/W Button camera seems awesome! It includes a mic and offers low light operations. It provides 30 fps and features 380 lines of res. I think I might go for this one.

I was looking at some of the tiny micro cameras that are available today. I’m thinking of going with a screw camera which is like a button camera, except instead of the exposed part looking like a button it looks like a Philips screw head. These can even be mounted on a pc board behind the wall that coverts them into IP cameras. These screw cameras can be mounted in a wall and even used to hang a picture or a mirror and it looks like it belongs. No one would every suspect it’s a hidden camera. The IP conversion will let me run standard Ethernet cables instead of the more expensive video cables. The Ethernet cable is also flatter so I can run it over the framing studs and cover it with the drywall without having to drill a hole through the vertical 2 X 4′s.
